08:30 – Pick-up from Your Hotel
Your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
Start your journey toward Boma Ng’ombe, a small town located between the two cities.
Drive time: ~1 hour from Moshi / ~2 hours from Arusha, depending on road conditions.
10:00 – Off-Road Drive through Local Villages
At Boma Ng’ombe, your guide will turn off onto a scenic dirt road, leading you through local Maasai villages and lush onion farms.
Enjoy beautiful rural views and occasional glimpses of Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru.
10:30 – Arrive at Chemka Hot Springs
Welcome to Kikuletwa (Chemka) Hot Springs — a hidden oasis with crystal-clear, turquoise water surrounded by fig trees.
You’ll be free to enjoy the place at your own pace.
10:30 – 15:30 – Free Time at the Hot Springs
Swim, float, or dive into the warm, refreshing water.
Play on the rope swing or find a peaceful corner to relax.
Enjoy optional activities like:
Local lunch (BBQ or vegetarian meal available on request)
Cold soft drinks, local beer, or fresh fruit juice
Short walks around the area or socializing with other travelers
Tip: The water is warm year-round, so it’s always a good time to swim.
15:30 – Prepare for Departure
After a full day of relaxation, swimming, and fun, you'll dry off, change, and prepare for the return drive.
16:00 – Drive Back to Hotel
Enjoy the peaceful ride back through the countryside.
Return to Moshi around 17:30 or Arusha around 18:30–19:00, marking the end of your tour.
